April shower bring May flowers but April also brings along the housing lottery, which means you have to figure out your housing situation for the upcoming school year. Everyone who is re-contracts to live on campus gets sent a number, the lower the number the earlier you have to pick your housing. According to your number you also receive a set time to go and actually choose and register your housing choices. Seems like no big deal, right? Not this year. Normally you have your usually room of four that you tend to keep as roommates for your whole college career but this year we have a group of five trying to get into one of the few five bedroom apartments on campus. Freshman year we had heard about these apartments, thinking they were an urban legend of the UWGB campus, no one really talks about them and they aren't advertised. This year we have done our research to find there are only four available. All we can do before losing our mind while anxiously waiting for next Thursday to arrive is to hope that those with lower numbers than us (hello 547!) have no idea that these apartments exist.  May the odds be ever in our favor.
