The First Day of Classes
Monday, August 31, 2015
As told by Ron Swanson
It's the first day of the semester. As much as you try to deny it, you're a little excited.
Once you arrive to your first class, the professor goes on about how this will be a really "fun and easy semester" but you know better
Someone raises their hand and begins to tell the story about how their mom's best friend's aunt's neighbor once did something that pertains to the class and you're like
The professor beings to go over the syllabus. The grading scale is ridiculously hard.
The also inform you that SURPRISE, you have a homework assignment due at the start of the next class.
Thankfully, they let you out of class before it's actually supposed to be over.
On the way back to your dorm you hear freshmen complaining about their problems and you just want to stop and say
You start to do some homework but you can't stay connected to the wifi for more than 10 minutes at a time.
Suddenly, your friend calls you to see what you're up to tonight and invites you to go out with them.
You guys start to pregame. It's a great time.
You leave for your destination. It's gonna be a fantastic night.
You get to the party and start to unwind from the stressful first day of school. You're having an awesome time.
It's getting pretty late but your friend suggests you go out to eat to soak up some of the alcohol you've consumed.
The next morning is a struggle. You almost sleep through your alarm and you're like
But you know that you're on track to have a great semester!
